Our latest study compared the effects of versatile leadership in the early stages of the COVID-19 outbreak to leadership in the same six organizations a year prior to the pandemic. The results showed that versatile leaders had more engaged, agile, and productive teams in both environments, but that versatility was even more statistically related to team agility, productivity, and overall effectiveness during the chaos of the crisis.
As the world gets more and more disruptive, versatile leadership plays a greater and greater role in how well organizations regroup, refocus, innovate, and remain competitive.
